Shanamism is one of the oldest wisdom current of our world. Long ago, in their attempt to make sense of their existence and their surrounding universe, tribes of humans have invented and perfected sacred rituals.
Here Sacred does not mean related to the gods or to any system of beliefs, sacred means “that which opens a space where the human can reach reality on other than usual level”.
These rituals have been enriched and perfected, written down and passed from generations to generations.
Today, due to the heavy discontinuity that happened during the western invasion, few of these rituals remain and few are the native american able to transmit the techniques of the past.
Nevertheless, these practice endure and will start overt to spread, and, through the careful experience of their keepers and conductors, will follow again the same path of evolution refinement and purification towards better rituals.
At the Ecole du Tantra, some 30 years ago, the Lakota ritual of the sweat lodge was transmitted to Anand Meera (Nicole Barer) by Archie Fire Lame Deer.
This Shamanic ritual is now integral part of the Dharma of Anand Sharabi (Jean Jacques Rigou).
A sweat lodge is such a ritualPractice, learn and gather with a mindful community unlike any other.
